Oozlefinch Brewery

The Ozzlefinch Craft Brewery is an adaptive reuse project that brings new life to a once abandoned building on the historic Fort Monroe. Hints of the building's previous life are shown throughout the design as salvaged materials were repurposed to help create various design elements throughout the space.

Oozlefinch Craft Brewery idealizes the Fort Monroe legend of the “Oozlefinch;" a featherless bird that flies backward at supersonic speeds and was first seen outside the officer’s club at Fort Monroe.
