Farmhouse Brewery

Farmhouse Brewery’s is truly special given its roots in Virginia Beach history. The tasting room is a creative adaptive reuse of the original William Elliot Wood farmhouse built in 1912 for his soon-to-be bride, the Sours building is the original metal hangar that stored Mr. Wood’s helicopter, and the Production/Cider building is a new construction designed to nestle into the overall site strategy and vision for the property.

Farmhouse Brewery

Each project has a fun story, but Farmhouse Brewery’s is truly special given its roots in Virginia Beach history.

As you enter the 8-acre property, you instantly feel like you take a step back in time to when Virginia Beach was primarily farmland. The development of the site includes an area for farming, an orchard, outdoor recreation, food trucks, ancillary support buildings, and a future farmers market. The goal is to sustainbly grow various ingredients on site for their unique brews, ciders, and to offer at the market.
